Snipers?
Does anybody else here use a snipe bot for eBay? I've started using one last week and I'm very happy with it. It's a lot easier to control your bidding, imo, especially because I often bid on US-based auctions and I can't stay up till three AM just to see how it evolves, usually with a price higher than I am willing to pay, resulting in hours of missed sleep for nothing. Now I can just very easily put up my personal max bid and go to sleep, knowing for sure I won't have a rush and bid more than I want to. I've won a CD by doing so yesterday and have (luckily) missed out on a couple of Sunn vinyls, because I had put my max bid on thirty dollars with the end bid raising usually over in the fourties.

I don't want to spend more time and money on shit I don't really need. I do enough enough of that as it is.
and Ebay doesn't need my support like local bands and distros...

You shouldn't get me wrong, I support my local scene, too. Although I can't say there are many distros or anything, just one independent label. I help out on a couple of gigs and a local festival, usually backstage and as security. I even recently 'sollicited' (sp?) as a volunteer for a local venue which is run by the two main guys of the underground here.

nah, I'm not doubting your support, I just don't have enough cash to spend it elsewhere, haha.Arnd wrote:You shouldn't get me wrong, I support my local scene, too.
