"The cloaked pagans known as STONE EVIL spawned to life in July 2009. The idea to form a project celebrating the 70's and 80's style of Traditional Doom was from the mind of Lasse Pyykko (Hooded Menace, Vacant Coffin, Claws, Phlegethon, etc) who wanted to explore a new style of Sabbath style Doom that he had never done before. He then asked Elektrokutioner (Decrepitaph, Skincrawler, Tombstones, Festered, etc) to lay down some drum tracks, as Lasse was going to take care of the guitar, bass and vocals for the band.
The two have worked together in other projects such as Shrouded (Primitive Swedish Death Metal) and Reeking Filth (Hardcore Punk), so they already knew working with each others unique styles would not be a problem.
Currently, STONE EVIL is completing work on a 2 song demo. The band has no future plans at this time, although more songs will be finished when they have some free time from their other bands and projects. No official releases are currently planned, although the band will be using the 2 song demo as promotion for any labels that might be interested.
Thanks for taking the time to listen to the music of STONE EVIL and we hope to bring you to your DOOM! "

Well this band pretty much died. The one thing electrocutioner or whatever has done that I liked and they don't do shit with it.
