There was this instant right before the end of the "real" set and before the encore where they were playing what sounded like early material and doing a very serene and soft section of a song, and I was fucking transfixed by the shadows of the lights on the ceiling.... And I was really getting into it when all the sudden, without much building at all, they hammered on fullblast and I actually had a fucking heart attack. And an orgasm. It was like a heart orgasm. It was the most astounding experience of my life.

My show was surprisingly hipster free. And it was in the most hipster town around. FIVE COLLEGES FUNNEL INTO THAT TOWN.

Except for the plaid-spangled fucker that followed me and my friend around trying to rape me... (I MOVED FIVE TIMES AND HE WAS ALL UP ON MA BUSINESS EVERY ONE!)

And unless you count crusties as hipsters, which they really are when you get to places like Northampton.
