Goddammit, this man was a genius. Some of the best jazz to have graced my ears in ever.
Not to mention he was crazy as fuck and actually believed he ascended to Saturn in college.

Sun Ra has and will always be one of my favorite Jazz artists next to Moondog, the man has open my ears to so many new sounds.
The movie he made is fucking surreal.
