Shabutie

I adore Coheed and Cambria, so naturally I've listened to other projects involving their members. The Prize Fighter Inferno is alright, whatever the guitarist does on the side kinda sucks, but Shabutie, the precursor to C&C, is damn near better than Coheed itself. Just sucks that they only ever released two EPs, though they're exceedingly entertaining EPs.

eh, didn't really impress me, seems really repetitive and it's not a style I really enjoy. some of the bits sound out of place our out of tune (imo). it got better when the song picked up, but some of the parts are almost laughable they're so subpar. plus the effects the vocalist uses throughout tends to annoy me, especially combined with the back-up singing.

They definitely approved with age, and like I said, Godfather's Lollipop is not their best song (I'd deem that to Disciple's Anthem, myself), but I dig it.
