The Mantle finally caught me a bit, but I still have to put it as last among my favorites in the full-lengths. :(

Re: Agalloch
There is no favorite list, there is only Agalloch
Really though, Ashes Against The Grain I feel is their weakest, but only just barely. I think it was a worthy experiment in sound but I don't want them to repeat it.
Except for the first couple minutes of "Limbs", that shit is so God Is An Astronaut and it is fucking cash.

The song that I can't seem to remember the name of (something like Fire Above, Water Below?), I thought it was the shit.

Re: Agalloch
This band just never really excited me like it does other people. *shrugs* different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Meh.
Pale Folklore is the best, along with The White EP, any other arguments are false.

White EP > Pale Folklore > Ashes > Mantle > Of Stone, Wind, and Pillor, imo.
Although that Sol Invictus cover is heavenly.

I'm with you kyle, I mean it's listenable for sure, but I could never quite see the pull towards them

I like it all for different reasons. None of the albums are bad.
