now, I'll only drink liquor (while partying) if I control the mix drink or pregamed with a quantity I choose, or if I am able to crash at whatever party I'm at.
basically, I'm going to be very careful now to avoid getting suspended from school. I dislike beer, but if drinking a few keeps me from getting drunk as fuck and maybe that happening again, I'll take it.
there's a point where being drunk just isn't fun anymore.

Not to take your situation lightly at all, Kev, that royally sucks but the good thing is that you can take that experience and turn it to something good, like realizing your limits. Haha, no offense to you, but I'm thinking maybe it pays that I'm nightblind, I definitely don't go wandering drunk at night.

Anyways, I finally stopped being lazy and got the adapter I needed to plug my record player to my stereo! Fuckin' finally, now I'm able to listen to my Saint Vitus records and now I guess I'll finish up collecting the LPs.

the only problem, really, is now I have to live with those two strikes at my university, not to mention missing class for court and paying fines.
other than that, it wasn't too bad. I understand my limit with vodka/straight liquor now (I've always been fine with rum, usually with coke).

It's your freshman year too, right? Maybe after a year or two of good behavior, should anything happen, they'll give you some leeway. Either way, best of luck to you.

gonna get some reading done so it's not so much of a burden around test time for communication.
ordered my textbook for music class yesterday, I might start going more often.

Yeah, that's the plan I was going for. One of them, Sven, who is already a guitarist in some other band has a thing for Electric Wizard and EHG already. My other friend, Seba, has only just bought his bass so it'll take atleast six months till he can get something decent out of him. The only problem is that he's a bonehard fucking asshole when it comes down to music. For the past year I've asked him over ten times if I can hook him up with some new music but he turns me down every single fucking time even though I know he doesn't know more than five doom bands, EHG, Rev Biz and Wizard being three of them. Then he gives me shit for "not wanting to broaden my horizons and listen to good post-hardcore like Rise Against". Seriously, some day I'll bitchslap him.
